Went there for Sunday dinner. The service was excellent, professional, attentive and genuinely warm. Every dish was introduced with clear explanations, which made the whole experience feel thoughtful. Portions were generous. We didn’t manage to finish everything, and that was after we forgot to order one more dish we originally planned.
The food was outstanding, rich in flavor, balanced, and simply delicious. A memorable meal overall.

Just visiting Montreal and enjoyed my stay at Damas. I wanted to support Syrian fine dining cuisine experience as I have not experienced something like this in Toronto.
Pricey restaurant but honestly flavors and textures were incredible. My favorite was the lamb dumplings. Great fantastic service as well. Everything went very well together it was very intentional when preparing the meal and menus. Will definitely return when back in the city God willing!

Excellent restaurant! Food and service was spectacular!! Place was jammed for a Wednesday night and there was an amazing vibe happening! All in all loved the place and will absolutely return! When in Montreal it’s a must to stop in. We were a group and everyone really enjoyed it! It’s an experience going there and hence why I’d return!

I’ve gone here for valentines, birthdays, date nights and more - it is by far my favourite restaurant in the city!
Cannot recommend the tasting with wine pairing enough, and if you don’t want a full course, we’ve always had amazing custom menus made by waitress Karin that pair beautifully together for an amazing meal.
Damas through and through never disappoints!

We had a great evening at Damas Restaurant. The food was excellent. We ordered baba ghanoush and fattoush as appetizers, and filet mignon and a lamb dish for the main course — everything was delicious and perfectly cooked.
It was Yalda Night, an Iranian celebration of the longest night of the year, so we asked for a red drink to celebrate. They brought us a lovely red beverage, which made the evening even more special.
Highly recommended!

Couldn’t say anything bad about Damas. The ambiance is incredible and the restaurant has so many cool details throughout. We loved the cold Mezze, shrimp, the braised lamb, and chicken dish. Everything blew us away. The flavor, presentation, and creativity is unmatched in Montréal. In addition our waiter Diego was extremely professional, kind, and knowledgeable on the food and wine. We loved the tea to end the dinner as well

Honestly I really dislike brunch, especially pre-fixe menus since I feel like most restaurants phone it in and treat brunch meals like an industrial assembly line. But Damas was extraordinary. All the dishes were unique yet comforting, but visually striking. The staff was also warm and endearing, even though we had a young g child, they were super hospitable. Would love to come back with out of town folks, old friends and family, so they can enjoy the ambiance and the food.

Okay, I’m afraid to say this, but Damas may be THE BEST restaurant and dining experience in my magical Montreal 💜
The food is definitely not from this planet… it’s unimaginably succulent and delectable. The decor is unparalleled and incomparable to any place I’ve ever been. The staff are amazing and incredibly kind.
The prices, of course, are quite high as this is a high-end restaurant. So you may wanna exercise caution so as not to break the bank 😅
And that’s it! Just enjoy being in a different planet for a few hours… a planet called دمشق 🤫

Probably my favourite restaurant in Montreal. Stand outs were the Rack of lamb, and lamb dumplings (Shish Borek). Even the ice cream with cotton candy was unique and memorable. Service was impeccable. Rack of lamb took awhile to come out but not an issue given how good the food was. Highly recommend

Damas offers a brunch experience that is as curated as it is flavorful, blending influences from both Eastern and Western cultures for a unique culinary adventure. The restaurant operates on a set-price menu, starting at $55, with additional charges depending on your selections. While it would be nice to see an a la carte option, the structured menu ensures each dish is thoughtfully prepared and cohesive.
The coffee is a standout, beautifully brewed and aromatic, setting the stage for the meal ahead. The dishes themselves are vibrant, richly spiced, and layered with flavor, making for a wonderful introduction to Syrian cuisine. Each bite is carefully balanced, showcasing both boldness and nuance without ever feeling overwhelming.
The ambiance enhances the experience: warm wood tones, magical lighting, and cozy decor create a welcoming and almost enchanting atmosphere that complements the food beautifully.
Overall, Damas delivers a brunch that is flavorful, memorable, and culturally immersive. For those seeking a thoughtful introduction to Syrian cuisine with a touch of cross-cultural flair, it’s a satisfying and elevated way to spend the morning.
